A leading legal services provider in London is seeking a Senior Technical Support Analyst who will oversee technical support while mentoring junior team members. This role requires prior IT support experience, strong knowledge of device management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional environment. Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site first and second-line support.

Senior Technical Support Analyst

London | Full-time | Permanent (Office-based)

The Role

The Senior Technical Support Analyst is a hands‑on position that combines technical expertise with strong communication skills, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality IT service in a professional environment. Acting as the senior escalation point for technical issues, you will oversee first and second‑line support, coordinate workloads, and deputise for the Regional IT Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on‑site first and second‑line support, acting as the senior technical resource for the London office.
  • Escalate and resolve complex or high‑profile technical issues promptly.
  • Assist with managing team workload, ticket queues, and IT coverage; deputise for the Regional IT Manager when needed.
  • Support regional offices, including occasional travel for projects or coverage.
  • Deliver weekly reports and maintain accurate documentation within the firm’s ticketing system.
  • Configure, build, and deploy firm‑standard laptops; manage loaner and hot‑swap equipment.
  • Maintain and update hardware inventory and oversee workstation setups for new hires and visitors.
  • Support mobile devices (iOS and Android) under Intune management, as well as remote access and MFA.
  • Provide audio‑visual support for meetings, videoconferencing, and teleconferencing setups.
  • Install, test, and maintain hardware and software applications.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the IT team.
About You
  • Prior IT support experience in a professional office environment (legal sector preferred).
