A leading water company based in Oxford is looking for a Senior Technician to join their wastewater treatment team. This role involves managing daily operations, mentoring team members, and improving process efficiency. Candidates should have NVQ 3 in Operating Process Plant and strong communication skills. We have a fantastic opportunity to join Thames Water as Senior Technician based at our wastewater treatment site on the outskirts of Oxford.
As our Senior Technician, you will provide flexible cover to support the existing operation teams, depending on resource need and priority. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ambitious, wanting to help lead a team to success and take that next step towards management. There will be opportunities to take ownership of various project work, write working procedures and instructions, be involved in H&S improvements, meet contractors, raise quotes, and bring new ideas to improve processes. You will take a lead role in key field-based activities and support the Performance Manager in managing and coordinating a team of technicians on the site.

Base Location: Oxford STW - OX4 4YU
Working Pattern 38 Hours Monday- Friday. Plus, standby & overtime opportunities. upon completion of essential company training.
