Job description
What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful post holder will support and assist teachers and other senior staff as part of a professional team in Trinity Post 16 Solutions Ltd, where we offer bespoke packages to young people aged 19-25 who have additional support needs.

Learners who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities (LLDD) are provided with a study programme that equips them with the skills needed for adulthood. EHCP outcomes are at the heart of the programme to equip learners to: Live as independently as possible; prepare for employment and the world of work; become involved in social and community activity; live a healthy lifestyle.

We are looking for
  • Experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment.
  • Experience of successfully implementing national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes or strategies.
  • A proven track record of raising pupils’ progress and attainment levels in a range of classroom settings, including working with individuals, small groups and whole classes.
  • Specialist skills or training in the relevant curriculum or learning area, e.g. behaviour management, SEN, individual subject areas as indicated.
  • Experience of producing lesson plans and worksheets and of administering, assessing and marking tests.
  • Training in relevant learning strategies.
  • NVQ 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent experience supporting teaching and learning in schools.
