Parent and Child Practitioner - Mother & Baby Unit

Epsom, Surrey • Permanent • £28,000 - £34,000 (experience dependent) • Daytime-only shifts

What You'll Do
  • Lead daytime shifts (no overnights) ensuring consistency and safety.
  • Provide hands-on parenting support and record observations.
  • Work closely with social workers and assessors.
  • Escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately.
Essential qualifications and experience
  • Able to work 6-12 hour shifts including weekends on a rota.
  • Experience supporting children & families (residential, early help, domestic abuse, parenting support, etc.).
  • Confident leading shifts and supporting teams.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding & trauma-informed practice.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
  • Level 3+ Health & Social Care qualification.
  • Parent Assess knowledge.
  • Experience with complex family needs.
