The Company: Join an ethical, sector-leading national energy recovery company with over 300 sites. We are seeking an experienced Plant Technician with a background in an industrial environment (e.g., manufacturing, power, waste, renewables, steel, concrete). This is a full-time, permanent role offering great investment in employee well-being and long-term career growth within a major trend-setter for renewable energy and recycling. You will be expected to ensure plant reliability and uphold high operational standards.
The ideal candidate would be a competent shift operations technician working from a control room in a heavy duty, industrial environment with experience understanding the mechanical, electrical faults that can occur on site equipment, being able to identify and contain possible hazards before they occur. All observations onsite must be documented correctly including but not limited to the company\'s Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental, Management System and all relevant legislation. Other duties will include complying with all PPE requirements including COSHH chemical handling, carry out frequent risk assessments and report any potential safety issues and control any hazards as required.
