Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a Safety Assurance Manager in Crawley or Reading. This role focuses on providing independent assurance of safety engineering activities for various projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in safety management with knowledge of relevant Defence Standards. This position also requires Security Clearance (SC) and offers flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering subject required.
• Significant experience in functional safety management is essential.
• Understanding of Defence Standards 00-055, 00-056 & 00-051 is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent Product Safety Assurance for projects.
• Support the approval of (potential) suppliers through audits.
• Ensure safety requirements are integrated into product descriptions.
