  • This role offers a unique opportunity to blend advocacy, leadership, and strategic oversight within a professional regulatory environment.
  • You will lead a team of in‑house presenting officers, coordinate assignments for external advocates, and ensure high‑quality representation during statutory committee hearings.
  • While primarily managerial, the role also involves direct advocacy in complex cases, with opportunities to appear before the High Court.
  • A qualified barrister or solicitor with at least five years’ PQE is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional regulation or a regulatory environment, along with a proven track record in tribunal advocacy and interpreting complex legislation, case law, and guidance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills are essential, and experience handling high‑profile cases is desirable.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring 1–2 days in the office and the remaining worked remotely.
