You will be working for a well-established organisation in the food manufacturing sector, recognised for producing trusted products and upholding strong standards.

About the Senior Quality Manager job

The successful candidate shall take the lead on Quality, Compliance, Specifications, and New Product Development in food manufacturing operations. You’ll play a key role in keeping the company’s BRC accreditation up to date and making sure they maintain top standards in food safety, hygiene, and legality with the aim of continually improving and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

• Keep the business ready for internal audits through checks, risk assessments, and improvements.
• Oversee food safety and technical processes, including creating procedures, fixing issues, approving suppliers, and supporting new product development tasks like specifications and artwork.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to boost food safety, compliance, and supplier performance, including site visits and ongoing support.
• Track KPIs and manage reporting, including internal audits.

About You

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar technical or quality role within food manufacturing.

• You shall hold HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 qualifications and have experience leading BRC audits.

The site is based in Essex and is commutable from Colchester, Manningtree, Clacton-on-Sea, Tiptree, Harwich, Brightlingsea and surrounding areas.

The working hours are Monday to Friday usual office hours.
