Job summary

A leading children's hospital in Greater London is seeking a Senior QA Pharmacist to ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice and related regulations. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in Quality Assurance within a pharmaceutical context and possesses a postgraduate qualification in the relevant area. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £64,156 to £71,148 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance or GMP environment.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of QA, GMP, GCP regulations.
  • Proven experience of delivering training.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity for a Band 8a has arisen within our friendly and progressive Pharmacy Team at GOSH. We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience of working in a GMP and/or QA related environment to join our department. In this role you will gain experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, GMP and unlicensed medicines.

Main duties of the job

To participate in the day-to-day delivery of the QA Service in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice and nationally agreed standards.

  • Specialist Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in Technical Services (e.g., Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance)
  • Technical Modules or equivalent experience: Aseptic dispensing, Parenteral therapy, Risk Management, Clinical trials, Formulation and Stability.
Experience/Knowledge
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance OR a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of QA, GMP, GCP and all current relevant regulations.
