Overview

An opportunity to join a growing, multi-disciplinary construction and project management consultancy operating in the UK with international backing. The business is in a clear growth phase, offering direct client exposure and a strong consultancy-led approach to project delivery.

This role suits an ambitious Senior Project Manager who is commercially aware and comfortable operating in a client-facing consultancy environment across varied project types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects from early feasibility through to completion in a consultancy capacity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Provide professional advice to clients on programme, cost, risk, and procurement strategy
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, risk, and reporting
  • Administer projects under JCT forms of contract
  • Support senior leadership with client relationships and repeat business
  • Work across multiple sectors, adapting to varied project requirements
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the UK business
Project Sectors

Current projects include:

  • Hotel developments (refurbishments and new builds)
  • Higher education projects
  • CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs
  • Workplace projects
  • Logistics and industrial facilities (MEP exposure beneficial, excluding data centres)
Experience & Requirements
  • Senior Project Manager with circa 5+ years’ experience
  • Strong consultancy-based project management fundamentals
  • JCT Contract Administration experience is required
  • Background from consultancy, main contractor (CA), or architectural practice considered
  • Commercially minded with strong client-facing capability
  • Comfortable advising clients and managing senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Interest in developing business development capability over time (not essential initially)
