Our people are the key to our success.

We're committed to fostering a culture of creativity, belonging and continuous learning, attracting and developing the brightest talent, and providing exciting career opportunities that help our people grow.

Why we're hiring:

WPP Open is at the forefront of revolutionizing how our global network operates, collaborates and delivers unparalleled value to clients. Our mission is to create a seamless, integrated ecosystem that empowers our agencies and client teams.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Senior Programme Manager to lead this pivotal Change and Enablement team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how our global organization leverages technology, adopts new methodologies, and drives sustained behavioural change. You will be instrumental in maximizing the value derived from our platforms and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across WPP.

Role Summary:

The Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the Change and Enablement team, driving strategic initiatives to accelerate platform adoption, enhance user proficiency, and embed new ways of working across WPP Open. This leader will define and execute the enablement strategy, ensuring successful digital transformation and continuous value realization from our technology investments.

What you'll be doing:
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the Change and Enablement team, overseeing both Product Enablement and Workspace Enablement functions.
  • Bridge Building: Act as the critical bridge between Professional Services product roadmap delivery and end-user enablement/adoption, ensuring every rollout is fully understood, embraced, and sustained across agencies and client teams on time.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and rigorously track KPIs and value-based performance metrics across the entire end-to-end platform experience to assess efficiency, adoption, and overall business impact.
  • Behavioral Change Impact: Monitor and precisely measure the impact of behavioural change programs, including shifts in mindset, adoption of new ways of working, and cultural alignment throughout the organization.
  • Adoption & Usage Growth: Drive measurable increases in platform adoption and sustained usage across global teams, leveraging data-led insights and establishing continuous feedback loops to inform strategies.
  • User Journey Optimization: Identify and proactively reduce friction points across the onboarding customer journey to significantly accelerate time to proficiency and continuously improve onboarding and enablement experiences.
  • Risk & Compliance: Establish and maintain robust global risk and compliance frameworks to effectively monitor, safeguard, and future-proof business-critical systems and processes.
  • Value Quantification: Partner strategically with executive sponsors, finance, and operations teams to quantify business value, identify and drive efficiencies, and inform crucial reinvestment strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion and foster a culture of continuous measurement and optimization to maximize the Return on Investment (ROI) from both platform development and behavioural transformation initiatives.
What you'll need:
  • 12+ years leading enterprise digital transformation, preferably within global, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep expertise in service design, organisational transformation, and behavioural change programs.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale platform rollouts across diverse business and cultural environments.
  • Proficient in process standardization, interoperability frameworks, and compliance-aligned design.
  • Experience implementing employee-centric platforms that blend technology, process, and change management.
  • Skilled in leading through influence, with strong stakeholder management across IT, HR, Product, and senior leadership teams.
  • Excellent collaboration skills—working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, HR, Product, Finance) to design, build, and optimize systems, processes, and user experiences.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to quantify value, define KPIs, and drive continuous performance improvement.
Who you are:

We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views. We are open-minded: to new ideas, new partnerships, new ways of working.

We believe in the power of creativity, technology and talent to create brighter futures for our people, our clients and our communities. We approach all that we do with conviction: to try the new and to seek the unexpected.

We are creative leaders and pioneers of our industry; we provide extraordinary everyday.

What we'll give you:

Scale and opportunity – We offer the opportunity to create, influence and complete projects at a scale that is unparalleled in the industry.

Challenging and stimulating work – Unique work and the opportunity to join a group of creative problem solvers. Are you up for the challenge?

Hybrid approach

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
