About The Role

One Aftersales is recruiting for a Senior Product Quality Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

What you will be doing:
  • Reporting into the Product Quality and Technical Services Manager, you will manage the Product Quality Specialists team to deliver high quality field monitoring of product quality and reporting of product quality issues to brand Headquarters, whilst achieving agreed targets for volume and quality via the PCC (Priority Customer Complaints) Process.
  • You will also manage the Product Safety Specialist to ensure investigation of Vehicle Safety Issues in line with DISS safety process, ensuring effective liaison with all brand factories/consumer protection departments, UK legal, Brands, UK PR teams, and group customer care department on all reports of a safety related nature.
  • You will be responsible for the active monitoring and evaluation of product quality and technical issues for a nominated Brand; you will focus on identifying concerns at the earliest stage and reporting them to the manufacturer via the established PCC reporting process to agreed targets.
  • You will also be responsible for managing key stakeholders across VWG UK and HQ to co-ordinate and successfully manage the major forthcoming airbag safety campaign process to completion.
Skills & experience you can bring to the role
  • Experience working with an automotive manufacturer or importer and knowledgeable about the factories, UK brands and UK dealer networks QA processes.
  • Ability to lead a team of specialists, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable gathering data and evidence with a forensic methodology.
  • Skilled in approving the suitability and effectiveness of repairs to all group vehicles and able to act as final quality control.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a concise and authoritative way at all levels with the factories, UK brands and retailer networks.
  • Technical expertise with current technologies.
  • Proficient in stakeholder collaboration and commitment.
