A prominent media organization is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of user preferences capabilities. This role involves identifying user needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing compliance. Candidates should have proven product management experience, particularly in user-facing roles, and a strong understanding of privacy management. The role is hybrid with locations across several UK cities and offers a competitive salary package.
Role: Lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of user preferences and controls capabilities in the Account and Identity platform team, ensuring that user preferences (privacy, content, follows, interests, notifications, and marketing) are managed in a consistent, transparent, and scalable way. Shape a core platform capability that underpins personalisation, compliance, and user trust across BBC services.
The interview process will be two stages and held on MS Teams. The first stage will include a short presentation/scenario followed by the second interview where you'll demonstrate the required competencies through examples from your experience. Interviews will be held w/c 20th October 2025.
Locations: London, Newcastle, Salford, Glasgow or Cardiff (Hybrid).
Proposed salary range: £80,000 - £90,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Flexible working will be discussed at the offer stage.
