Overview

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is an arm's length body (ALB) of the Home Office responsible for the regulation of private security across the United Kingdom. The SIA’s purpose is to protect the public through effective regulation of the private security industry and to raise standards across the sector.

Responsibilities

Senior Product Manager will lead product strategy from discovery to delivery, working cross‑functionally with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers and stakeholders. The role will transform regulatory challenges into user‑focused, practical solutions, prioritise roadmaps, shape the vision for a brand‑new regulatory function and influence how services are delivered and trust is built with the public.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience managing digital products through the full DDaT product lifecycle.
  • Experience with CRM systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management and iterative working.
  • Experience translating strategy into product vision, roadmap and prioritised backlog.
  • Ability to engage, influence and manage stakeholders across complex environments.
  • Experience embedding user‑centred design, accessibility and GDS Service Standard compliance.
  • Evidence of data‑informed decision making and benefits realisation.
  • Experience managing products that follow a full customer lifecycle, including application, assessment and processing stages.
  • Familiarity with digital and data technologies, APIs, cloud, and integration platforms (desirable).
  • Professional certification in Agile Product Management, Scrum, or Lean methodologies (desirable).
