Role

FX Digital is a Connected TV-first and OTT app technology company. We collaborate with some of the biggest names in streaming to develop their streaming applications across smart TVs, set-top boxes, streaming sticks, and game consoles. We are proud to have worked with clients including Discovery, BritBox, ITV, and ATP Media.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our talented design team in our London office. In this role, you’ll lead design projects within the OTT space, working closely with our Creative Director and Head of Design for guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Design & Strategy:
    • Lead the design of CTV products, creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences across TV interfaces.
    • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
    • Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
    • Ensure designs meet user experience goals, accessibility standards, and business objectives.
  • Collaboration & Workshops:
    • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Quality Assurance to define product vision and roadmap.
    • Participate in ideation sessions, design sprints, and workshops.
    • Advocate for design best practices and maintain consistency across products.
  • Creative & Marketing Design:
    • Design internal marketing materials (presentations, campaigns, banners) that align with the company’s brand identity.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to translate product features into visually compelling content.
  • Mentorship:
    • Guide, mentor, and provide feedback to junior and mid-weight designers.
    • Contribute to defining design processes, standards, and systems for the team.
  • Research & User Testing:
    • Apply platform-specific best practices for TV navigation, readability, and interaction design.
    • Conduct usability testing for CTV experiences and refine designs based on feedback.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in CTV, media, or digital platforms.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and creative marketing work.
  • Expertise in wire-framing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design tools.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding design teams.
  • Knowledge of accessibility, platform guidelines, and usability principles for TV interfaces.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.

This is a full-time role based out of our London office. We can only consider applicants who can work 3 days per week from the office.
