Overview

Senior / Principal Structural Engineer – Bangor

Salary: 45k-62k DOE plus benefits. Hybrid working available after successful probation. Applicants based in Wales or willing to relocate will be considered.

Role

Join a busy engineering practice with a network of UK offices. In Bangor, the office is run by the Technical Director and you will work closely on projects ranging from private residences to education structures, local housing associations, Councils and more. You will contribute to a fast-paced team focused on delivering high-quality outcomes for local clients.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake structural design calculations in all traditional materials in accordance with relevant Standards and Codes.
  • Support the design process with a good understanding of Tekla, CADS and Tedds.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, taking initiative as part of a team while applying your own judgement.
  • Visit sites regularly to assess on-site conditions and progress as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' UK experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
  • Working towards Chartership; the client will assist with this process.
  • Ability to relocate to Wales or already based in Wales; driving licence required for site visits.
  • Strong work ethic and the drive to contribute to a growing workload and client aspirations.
