A regional healthcare provider in Llanelli is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join their Pharmacy team. The role involves dispensing medicines, supporting patient discharge, and teamwork within the pharmacy. Applicants should have GCSEs and relevant qualifications in Pharmacy. The position offers an annual salary ranging from £25,313 to £26,999, with opportunities for professional development and training.

We are committed to developing the role of Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officers within the Pharmacy Department and are increasing their involvement within the service delivery.
Our Pharmacy team is forward thinking and continually strives to improve the delivery of patient focused pharmaceutical care and optimise the use of medicines within the Health Board.
The successful candidate will work within a team of Senior Technical Officers, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists in providing a wide range of Pharmaceutical Services within the hospital setting. You will be given specific training to help develop your skills.
Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above and NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in Pharmacy services is essential.
To perform a variety of tasks to support the pharmacy teams within the Health Board. Roles may include working in the following areas: Distribution, Procurement, Dispensary, and Ward Based Services.
The successful candidate will be involved in working on a weekend and Bank Holiday Rota.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
