Job description
Overview

Ancient + Brave is a mission-driven wellness brand with an award-winning range of collagen, blends and supplements. We balance people, planet and profit to support women’s health and sustainability. As a B-Corp, we meet high standards of social and environmental impact. We are growing and expanding internationally and seek to shape the future of wellness through simple daily rituals.

The Role

Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will own performance marketing strategy and implementation across the full ecosystem: paid social and search, emerging channels, affiliates and performance-driving partnerships. You will combine analytical rigour with commercial creativity to balance sustainable, long-term brand and sales growth with immediate revenue-driving campaigns. You will lead the evolution of measurement and attribution to ensure smart investment decisions and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute a holistic performance marketing strategy across channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, affiliates, partnerships, etc.). Balance long-term sales-building activity with short-term conversion tactics to support sustainable growth. Partner with Brand, influencer, partnerships and CRM teams to integrate performance activity with broader marketing and commercial goals. Drive rapid customer acquisition and demand in new international markets (e.g., Spain, Germany) by briefing local agencies and translating brand-led awareness into measurable customer acquisition.
  • Execution & Optimisation: Own and optimise the performance marketing budget for profitable customer acquisition. Oversee daily campaign management and budget allocation across channels. Test, learn and scale new acquisition channels, advertising tools, creative formats and audience strategies. Drive improvements in CPA, ROAS, LTV and other growth metrics. Scale and manage the affiliate programme and grow relationships with high-performing partners.
  • Measurement & Attribution: Contribute to and lead attribution frameworks (e.g., last-click, MMM, incrementality testing, data-driven models) tailored to growth stage. Educate stakeholders on attribution trade-offs and build robust reporting dashboards for leadership insights.
  • Agency & Partner Management: Manage external performance marketing agencies, ensuring alignment to strategy and accountable results. Negotiate contracts and KPIs, oversee day-to-day delivery, and encourage innovation while maintaining core knowledge within the business.
  • Collaboration & Team Growth: Work with Data, Product and Finance teams on forecasting, testing and reporting. Mentor junior team members and help scale the performance marketing function as the company grows.
Who You Are

To be successful you will bring:

  • Proven experience in performance marketing, ideally in a high-growth consumer scale-up or fast-paced digital environment.
  • Deep expertise across performance marketing beyond Google and Meta, with a track record of testing, optimising and scaling spend in diverse channels.
  • Strong grasp of attribution models and practical experience applying them in practice.
  • A track record of short-term revenue tactics and long-term growth strategies.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, comfortable with complex datasets and tools (e.g., GA4, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to translate performance into broader business impact.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward testing, learning and scaling what works.
  • Interest in emerging trends and AI in performance marketing, with a desire to stay at the cutting edge.
Why Join Us
