Senior Operations Director – Residential and Supported Living Services

Salary:
£65,000 – £70,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type:
Full-Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm | On-Call as required

Job Description:
We are hiring a Senior Operations Director to oversee a group of adult social care services in North London. The role spans five services, including two CQC-rated Good residential homes and three supported living settings, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a senior-level opportunity ideal for a strategic leader with strong operational, regulatory, and people management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead operations across five adult care services. Line-manage two Home Managers and one Deputy Manager. Increase occupancy and optimise fee structures (£800–900 for residential, £600–700 for supported living). Ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory frameworks. Embed effective quality assurance systems and documentation standards. Drive multidisciplinary collaboration within budget. Develop performance KPIs and foster a high-performance culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities and care stakeholders. Act as a visible, values-led leader focused on service quality and outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience managing multiple adult social care services. In-depth knowledge of CQC inspections, documentation, and compliance. Strong leadership and people management skills. Budget management and occupancy strategy experience. Familiarity with care management tech such as Log My Care or MaxTime. Proactive, resilient, and outcome-focused leadership style. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
