Job description

We are seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner to work full time. Please only apply if you have a minimum level 3 qualification in a UK‑recognised early years qualification.

We are looking for a skilled and qualified full‑time Senior Practitioner with baby/toddler experience to assist in the management of our toddler room. The Senior Nursery Practitioner will work as a key person and as part of the Nursery team under the direction of the Room Leader to provide safe, high‑quality education and care for young children within a stimulating and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities

• Hold a minimum NVQ level 3 in childcare
• Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Be able to plan for children's development
• Manage resources effectively
• Have a minimum of 2‑3 years’ experience as a Nursery Practitioner in a childcare setting
• Work well as a team player

Requirements

• A minimum of level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Experience of working in a childcare setting
• Experience in toddler room
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
