Were looking for a Senior Nurse to join our team in Cardiff and the Vale Community.

This role involves managing a team of Healthcare Assistants, supporting the Clinical Nurse Manager in delivering high-quality palliative care. The Senior Nurse oversees clinical services, coordinates care, and leads staff development to ensure patient-focused care aligned with Marie Curies values

Job responsibilities

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 6 (aligned with AFC) £39,263 - £47,820 pro rata per annum + enhancements

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time 30 hours per week

Based: Community Based Cardiff and the Vale

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including recruitment, rostering, and performance reviews
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and proactive approach
  • Registered Nurse with a relevant nursing degree and mentorship/teaching qualification
  • Ability to manage clinical audits, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the service area
