Job description

TUV Rheinland Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing or maintaining piping and pipeline systems, mechanical equipment such as rotating machines, pressure vessels, valves, and structures. The role involves working within a dynamic team of project delivery consultants and engineers, providing project and technical engineering services globally across various industry sectors.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a relevant engineering field.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovation.
  • Experience with design software including E3D, Finglow, and stress analysis programs.
  • Experience in design verification of piping and mechanical installations.
  • Proficiency in piping and mechanical design.
  • Understanding of international and national standards.
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Effective communication skills and customer focus.
  • Ability to manage uncertain and complex situations.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a desire to develop further.
  • Experience in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry (desirable).
  • Chartered status with a relevant institution, e.g., Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
