Job description

Are you a forward-thinking marketing professional with a passion for B2B marketing and digital excellence? Radiodetection is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our EMEA/APAC team in Bristol. This hands-on role offers the chance to take ownership of marketing communications, campaigns, and digital strategy, while bringing creative ideas that make a real impact.

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, you will lead marketing initiatives across the region, with a focus on digital execution, SEO, content creation, and social media management. You will collaborate closely with sales, channel partners, product management, and third-party agencies (with the opportunity to bring more capabilities in-house) to ensure every campaign strengthens customer relationships and delivers measurable results.

This is a hybrid role based in Bristol, with expected office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It also includes occasional travel (around six times per year) for exhibitions and regional events.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Content & SEO
  • Execute regional SEO and content strategies, ensuring marketing materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with corporate branding.
  • Produce targeted customer emails and digital communications to support campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop marketing collateral for key accounts.
Social Media & Campaign Management
  • Plan, execute, and manage the region's social media presence and campaigns.
  • Develop marketing campaigns with clear objectives, schedules, and success metrics, and track ROI to optimise results.
  • Support exhibition planning and execution, working closely with Sales and Product Management.
  • Partner with commercial teams to create impactful customer-facing marketing initiatives.
Customer Engagement & Advocacy
  • Manage customer engagement programs, including virtual and in-person events, training, and onboarding initiatives.
  • Build strong customer relationships, converting key advocates into marketing champions through case studies, testimonials, and social media exposure.
  • Maintain a library of up-to-date customer success stories and validation points.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute both long-term and short-term marketing plans.
  • Skilled in crafting effective communication strategies and identifying the most appropriate marketing tactics.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver marketing campaigns, collaborating across teams and measuring results.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles, social media management, and content creation; videography skills a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Hands‑on marketing experience, preferably in B2B or technical manufacturing.
  • Expert proficiency with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
  • Experience managing or working extensively with a CMS.
Why Join SPX Radiodetection?
  • Work in a collaborative, innovative team that values creativity and initiative.
  • Be at the forefront of digital marketing transformation, bringing agency expertise in-house.
  • Enjoy hybrid working from our Bristol office, with exciting opportunities to travel and attend events.
