What to expect

Work with the Head of Public Affairs and Director of Policy and Sustainability, to deliver the PA strategy for CCEP, updating as needed and aligning with the evolving communications landscape and political dynamics of 2026–2029. Drive business performance, enhance corporate reputation, and foster stakeholder engagement through innovative and impactful public affairs initiatives, in close collaboration with the Coke System and aligned with the Corporate Public Affairs agenda.nda.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Build and maintain a dynamic national stakeholder database of political and industry stakeholders to support strategic engagement and reputation‑building efforts.
  2. Strategic Programme Development: Design and execute GB‑specific public affairs programmes, messaging, and events that elevate CCEP’s profile and influence.
  3. Executive Advisory: Support and deliver strategic counsel to senior leaders on public affairs matters, ensuring alignment with business priorities and external realities.
  4. Representation & Advocacy: Represent CCEP at key public forums, alone or with the Head of PA or the Director of Policy and Sustainability, delivering compelling messages that support business objectives.
  5. Thought Leadership: Actively participate in external events to build relationships, defend CCEP’s reputation, and position the company as a responsible and local industry leader.
  6. Corporate Alignment: Contribute to the Corporate PA agenda, including position papers, strategy development, and cross‑market collaboration.
  7. Policy Influence: Represent CCEP’s interests in legislative and regulatory discussions, ensuring proactive and constructive engagement with government bodies, including consultation responses.
  8. Event organisation and delivery: Work with PA team and external agency to coordinate and deliver stakeholder events, site visits and parliamentary engagements.
What we're looking for
  • Proven track record in public affairs at both devolved and national levels
  • Experience developing and executing PA strategies and campaigns
  • Strong stakeholder management and senior leadership engagement
  • Relevant political experience / understanding – at devolved and national level, devolved Government engagement in Scotland or Wales particularly desirable
