The role holder will lead the newly‑created HINV Finance Data and Controls team and work closely with the wider HINV Finance and business teams as well as stakeholders in the broader HSBC Group to ensure the key data elements (KDEs) going into HINV’s financial reporting are fit for use. Where KDEs fall below expected standards, the role holder will partner with relevant teams to deliver strategic fixes and ensure appropriate tactical solutions are in place in the interim.
The role will also provide strategic direction and guidance to senior management of HINV, with respect to data issues that are relevant to the business and ensure projects which impact on KDEs required by HINV Finance are properly implemented.
To be aware of the Operational Risks associated with the role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations embracing all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to apply. To abide by the Group Compliance Policy in conjunction with the relevant Compliance Department.
Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to our employees, so you can flex between home and the office, with a current requirement to be in the office 2 days per week.
