We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Capital Allocation & Business Control to join us.

The Senior Manager, Capital Allocation & Business Control will play a key role in providing the CFO and senior leadership with clear, data-driven insights into the performance of Liberty Global’s operating companies. Working as part of a high-impact team, this role will deliver regular portfolio performance analysis and develop Board materials that articulate business results, trends, and outlook. By translating complex financial data into actionable insights, the Senior Manager will help drive informed decision-making and enable optimal capital allocation across the Liberty Global portfolio.

What will you be doing?
  • Prepare high-quality management reporting and performance insights for the Board, ELT, CEO, FLT, and CFO.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of M&A activity, macroeconomic shifts, and competitive dynamics.
  • Partner with Strategy, M&A, and other functions on strategic and ad hoc initiatives to support enterprise decision‑making.
  • Lead the budgeting and long‑range planning process for Liberty Global’s operating companies, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
  • Review, challenge, and provide value‑added feedback on budgets and long‑range plans submitted by operating companies.
  • Own Group liquidity management, overseeing cash budgeting and forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities, and evaluating the cash implications of Group‑wide initiatives and investments.
We tend to look for people with:
  • Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent), with experience in commercial finance and FP&A
  • Skilled in financial modelling and advanced Excel/PowerPoint, with experience using financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Smartview, HFM) and AI tools to drive efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and shape financial narratives.
  • Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of financial performance drivers.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven, with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, agile, and commercially led environments, adapting quickly to change while juggling multiple priorities.
