Senior Legal Counsel - Central London | 5-10 PQE | Global Investments Business

Join a leading international investments group as Senior Legal Counsel in London. Work alongside a highly experienced General Counsel, advising on high-value real estate, funds, and infrastructure investments.

The Business
  • Part of a global financial group with strong ties to a major international bank.
  • Offices across the UK, Asia, and the US.
  • Investment portfolio spans shopping centres, apartment blocks, and energy networks, with projects typically ranging from £150m-£500m.
  • Modern, fast-paced culture - decisions are made quickly and deals move at pace.
  • Central London office, close to Liverpool Street station.
The Role
  • Report directly to the General Counsel and support the wider legal team.
  • Advise on:
    • Investment and funds transactions
    • Real estate and infrastructure deals
    • Structuring, due diligence, and regulatory analysis
    • Negotiating transactional documents with external counsel
  • Regularly liaise with the compliance team (KYC and regulatory matters).
  • Review and negotiate third-party contracts for day-to-day operations.
  • Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments impacting the portfolio.
Requirements
  • UK-qualified solicitor, 5-10 years' PQE.
  • Background in investment, funds, real estate, or infrastructure transactions.
  • Strong experience handling high-value, complex deals.
  • Ability to project manage transactions autonomously.
