The Role:
As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will provide high-quality, clear, and timely legal advice across a diverse range of issues, including:
Resolution of disputes and regulatory complaints
Enforcement actions for suspected breaches of licences or legal obligations
Support on corporate governance and administrative law matters
Provide sound legal advice aligned with strategic and regulatory priorities
Support decision-making on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters
Draft legal documents, including licences and enforcement communications
Proactively identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions
Manage your own caseload while contributing to cross-functional legal projectsThe Person:
A qualified solicitor or barrister eligible to practise in Northern Ireland- 5 years PQE+
Proven post-qualification experience (preferably in regulatory, public, or energy law)
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and pragmatic advice
Experience working on complex legal issues in a public or regulatory context
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
