Senior Land Referencer STAFFORD / BIRMINGHAM / HYBRID UP TO 45K BENEFITS TML Recruitment are partnered with a leading UK wide property practice in their search for a candidate to join their land referencing team in the Infrastructure Services division.

The division assists in delivering projects to build a more sustainable and long-lasting Infrastructure for the UK on behalf of clients across of a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.

Collaborating with delivery and spatial data teams, the land referencing function plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and well-documented land referencing for statutory processes including DCOs, CPOs, and TWAOs.

What will you be doing?
  • Leading quality assurance of land ownership data input into proprietary databases
  • Developing and refining land referencing methodologies to support project enquiries
  • Managing field teams and logistical processes for on-site data collection
  • Interpreting and analyzing complex datasets related to land and property assets
  • Reviewing intricate title documentation and translating findings into BOR schedules
  • Coordinating closely with GIS and project delivery functions
  • Participating in project meetings with stakeholders
  • Providing progress updates and reporting to internal and external teams
What do you need to be selected?
  • Degree in geography, land surveying or similar discipline which relates to land
  • Proven experience within land referencing working on major projects going towards DCO / CPO / TWAOs
  • Able to manage multiple projects and team members at once
  • Strong communication skills and able to communicate with both internal clients and external clients and landowners
  • Full Driving license
  • People Management skills
  • Experience managing Mobile data collection tools
  • Knowledge of GIS systems and FME
