Job description
Overview

You will be integral to supporting the team as a supervisor and line manager, as well as maintaining a small clinical caseload and supporting in the operational running of the service. You will be passionate about providing a high standard of care for our service users. This is completed through high quality therapy and ensuring all parts of the system and its processes are effective and run efficiently. This includes providing supervision and line management along with supporting innovation and the setting up of new processes and ways of working as and when required.

We would particullarly like to hear from you if you are qualified in a second modality in addition to CBT, such as IPT, EMDR or BCT. We would also value a qualification in NHS Talking Therapies Long Term Conditions. Leadership skills are essential to help problem solve with your team and motivate and encourage high standards of work in a rapidly changing and demanding Talking Therapies service. For candidates without significant management experience, we offer a comprehensive induction and line management training package to provide the support and skills required.

You will lead on specific areas within our service in both the step 2 and step 3 teams. The senior's role is to develop these areas, improve quality and outcomes, and take part in different projects. We are a forward thinking service and we welcome new ideas and initiatives.

  • Lead on quality improvement, participate in projects, and implement new processes or ways of working.
  • Support innovation and contribute to setting up new processes when required.
  • Support a high standard of care through high quality therapy and effective system processes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience as an experienced high intensity therapist or an existing senior therapist seeking the next step in career.
  • Qualified in CBT and, ideally, a second modality (e.g., IPT, EMDR, or BCT).
  • Value qualification in NHS Talking Therapies Long Term Conditions.
  • Strong leadership skills to problem solve, motivate teams, and sustain high standards in a changing environment.
  • For those without significant management experience, a comprehensive induction and ongoing line management training package is provided.
