Senior Health and Safety Consultant

Location: UK – must be prepared to travel

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Depending on Experience + Car allowance

D7 Recruitment is exclusively seeking a dedicated senior Health and Safety Consultant to join a well-established Health and Safety company with a real family feel. This is a remarkable opportunity for individuals looking to grow withing a company.

The Senior Health and Safety Consultant is responsible for managing part of our client portfolio and seeking opportunities to develop and expand the client base.

Working closely with our stakeholders, the Senior Health and Safety Consultant will lead on our consultancy projects ensuring client requirements and requests are delivered efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing part of our extensive portfolio of consultancy clients, ensuring that clients’ needs are met in a professional and timely manner.

• Deliver clear legal advice to the client, surrounding all health and safety matters in a professional and pragmatic way.

• Produce and maintain health and safety systems for our clients’ projects.

• Conduct specialist risk assessments.

• Carry out audits, site visits and other duties requested by the Operations Manager.

• Collaborate and support other team members by sharing your knowledge and expertise.

• Provide support to our internal business functions and processes.

• Provide support developing the business further by building on and maintaining the good relationships with clients, seeking new business opportunities wherever possible.

• Make decisions and act on your own initiative, with the business and clients best interests in mind.

• Achieve 100% completion of monthly KPI’s set by the business.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Undertake any reasonable request made by the Directors and management team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Highly organised with the ability to manage their own time and take direction.

• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
