Qualifications

Overview

Senior Group Accountant

Salary 85,000- 90,000 DOE

Well established manufacturing organisation based in Basildon - Must be a car-driver

Permanent/Full Time/ Hybrid

Industry: Manufacturing, Accountancy

(Applications from those who only have a practise background will not be shortlisted for this role as experience in industry is essential).

You must be a car driver due to the location of our clients office.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Group Reporting
• Group External Financial Reporting
• External audit management - Key contact point
• Providing accounting and commercial support to the organisation as applicable
• Own the Group accounting policies (Controls)
• Own the Tax Risk management for the Group, and ensure compliance in corporate and VAT tax matters. Own the relationship with external advisors.
• Preparation of month end journals, reconciliations, financial statements, and other financial accounting activities
• IFRS experience preferable
• Experience in a control environment - ICFR / SOX
• Internal audit management
• Impairment reviews
• Corporation Tax
• VAT
• Statutory accounts production - FRS 101 & FRS102 experience required
• Staff management
• Change management (processes and integration)

Qualifications

• Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in a high turnover organisation (minimum 5 years)
• Experience in a control environment, SOX / ICFR or similar
• IFRS experience preferable; FRS 101/FRS102 experience essential
• Strong Financial reporting experience
