Overview

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by a leading specialist youth homeless charity in Northern Ireland, to recruit for a permanent, full-time Senior Finance Officer.

Location: Belfast BT7

Salary: £28,770 per annum and pension 4% of salary

Holidays: 25 days per annum plus 11 statutory days (increasing by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days per annum plus 11 statutory days). Increase is effective from 1 April each year, once a full year of service has been completed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the finance, contracts and procurement services in partnership with the client’s outsourced finance partner.
• Ensure the day-to-day accounting and financial management is accurate and compliant.
• Collaborate with the external Finance Partner to assist with payroll, annual budgeting/forecasting, and reporting on financial performance.
• Work with the Head of Corporate Services to ensure contracts and procurement are compliant and fulfil guidelines and requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance team, including managing 1 part-time finance officer.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Finance Environment AND a Financial Qualification
• OR 4 years’ experience in a Finance Environment
