Iport Logistics Limited, a concern of Impress Group, is looking for a bright and dynamic individual to join our team as Senior Executive / Executive - Finance and Accounts.

Job Description / Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all financial documents and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Accurately process and record all financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries specific to freight forwarding operations.
  • Handle freight billing, shipping cost verification, and invoice processing.
  • Verify vendor bills (air/sea freight, transport charges) and ensure proper documentation.
  • Track and reconcile freight-related expenses and revenue accurately.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to Bangladesh Bank.
  • Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and timely payments. Handle accounts receivable, focusing on invoicing, collections, and maintaining customer ledgers.
  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of various financial statements, reports, and summaries (e.g., balance sheets, income statements) for management review.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Prepare and assist in preparing and filing tax returns (VAT, income tax, etc.) and ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations.
  • Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.
  • Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned by management to ensure efficient departmental operations.
