The role involves producing pre-qualification submissions, leading estimating activities, and utilizing various estimating techniques. Candidates should have relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and ideally hold a degree in a related field. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Nuclear/Civil engineering sectors is preferred.
  • Broad technical knowledge in both pre- and post-contract phases.
  • Experience with NEC suite and Public Contract Regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and manage pre-qualification submissions.
  • Lead client estimating activities and develop estimate plans.
  • Utilise estimating techniques for benchmarking and validation.
  • Review and document all estimates comprehensively.

Skills

Security Cleared or ability to gain Security Clearance
Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management
Understanding of Procurement, Supply Chain, Cost Management
Communication skills
Ambition and drive

Education

HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law
Professional qualifications/membership of RICS, CIOB, etc.
