A local government authority in Leicester is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Highway Drainage Section. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer to join our Highway Drainage Section in the Environment & Preventative team at Leicestershire County Council.
The successful applicant will join a motivated, friendly team of professionals providing support to the Environment and Preventative Manager in the management of the team, with specific responsibilities in respect of highway drainage maintenance project delivery and flood risk. They will also provide management and supervision to other team members and managing the case load of team members for whom they have supervisory responsibility.
The nature of the work may involve you carrying out work outside of normal working hours and at different locations than your designated base.
