A little more about your role…

1. Meet the requirements of a 'Senior Engineer' grade with a proven track record in leading projects and project teams, demonstrating personal input that led to successful delivery or project acquisition.
2. Work in a joint leadership capacity within a multidisciplinary MEP team, providing design and technical advice on a range of projects.
3. Work independently on technical aspects or bring specific specialist experience applicable to the role.
4. Interpret client needs and project requirements to meet delivery objectives.
5. Supervise detailed designs and oversee the work of others.
6. Lead feasibility studies specific to the discipline.
7. Take responsibility for producing detailed and performance specifications, reviewing them prior to issue.
8. Review design programmes and ensure resource availability.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

Key Technical Requirements:

• Understanding of UK and European regulations relevant to the discipline.
• Experience with electrical design software and Revit MEP or similar 3D design tools.
• Ability to communicate technical details graphically and effectively.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for project work.

Electrical Skills:

• Low voltage distribution and standby systems
• UPS and lightning protection
• Cable and lighting calculations
• Fire alarms, security, access control, and data cabling systems

Qualifications:

• BEng/BSc/MEng in an engineering discipline
• Honours degree accredited by CIBSE, IET, or Engineering Council, or equivalent experience leading to Chartership
• Working towards IEng or CEng status
• Revit MEP training
• Ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC)
