Job description

We’re looking for a talented Digital Acquisition Lead for Allianz Trade UK & Ireland.

Reporting to the Northern Europe Head of Digital Marketing, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-impact digital acquisition strategies that generate quality marketing-qualified leads across all our lines of business, including trade credit insurance, surety, and business fraud insurance.

Your expertise in digital performance marketing will drive inbound pipeline growth, optimise lead quality and volume, and contribute to core commercial KPIs across marketing and sales. You’ll play a hands‑on role in campaign planning and execution, using or Adobe martech and other performance tools to drive measurable results.

Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll work closely with colleagues across marketing automation, web, and content, manage an award‑winning digital marketing agency as well as manage a six‑figure demand generation budget.

You'll ensure strong tracking and ROI measurement via CRM, dashboards, and channel attribution models – constantly refining tactics for maximum impact.

Key areas of responsibility
  • Digital Acquisition – Take ownership of the digital acquisition strategy for the UK & Ireland, with responsibility for implementing, refining, and evolving the approach to drive premium growth from both new customer acquisition and cross‑selling to existing customers.
  • Go‑to‑market – Plan and deliver external go‑to‑market campaigns for new products, focused on digital activation.
  • Segmentation & messaging – Define high‑value B2B segments and shape messaging with content colleagues that aligns to buyer needs by industry, size, and profile.
Channel management & campaign execution
  • Digital channel activation – Deliver and optimise multi‑channel campaigns across paid search, SEO, paid social, email, and web to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Agency management – Partner with our agency to execute high‑performing paid media campaigns, optimising to key acquisition KPIs.
  • Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) – Lead targeted ABM initiatives to engage medium‑sized and corporate accounts in collaboration with sales.
Collaboration & sales alignment
  • Cross‑functional alignment – Lead the digital acquisition plan in close coordination with product, brand, content, social, marketing automation, and web colleagues.
  • Sales Collaboration – Align campaigns with sales objectives to support pipeline growth, upsell opportunities, and lead follow‑up.
  • Regional best practice sharing – Exchange insights with Northern Europe teams to strengthen regional acquisition performance.
Performance measurement, optimisation & budget ownership
  • Analytics & reporting – Own digital marketing performance dashboards, track attribution across all channels, and use insights to refine strategy and boost ROI.
  • Budget management – Manage a six‑figure digital acquisition budget, using performance data to optimise spend allocation, guide testing, and maximise cost efficiency.

  • Project management – Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative self‑starter – Takes ownership of acquisition outcomes while working cross‑functionally with internal teams to drive innovation and shared success.
  • Budget ownership – Experienced in managing and optimising sizable digital budgets, using performance insights to guide spend and maximise ROI.
The ideal candidate
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing B2B digital acquisition.
  • Experience working in a B2B insurance or financial services organisation, or one with a well‑developed B2B lead‑generation program.
  • Degree‑level marketing qualification or equivalent.
