Overview

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design of complex civil engineering projects in Watford. You will provide technical expertise, mentor junior engineers, and ensure projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is a hands-on role combining design, site oversight, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

What you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) and Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in structural design engineering within the civil engineering sector.
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD Pro.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
