A community-focused organization in Staffordshire is seeking a Senior Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Volunteer Coordinator) to lead a volunteer program support for women affected by domestic abuse. The successful candidate will oversee volunteer recruitment and training, ensure effective delivery of programs, and respond to safeguarding concerns. Candidates should have a strong understanding of domestic abuse, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A driving license and a DBS check are required. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary.
£27,367 per annum

As a Senior Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Volunteer Coordinator), you’ll lead on the day-to-day activities of a team of volunteers delivering support and co-delivering group programmes to women who have experienced domestic abuse. You’ll lead on supervision, training and volunteer recruitment, playing a key part in the ongoing growth, development and sustainability of the service.
Please note : This role will involve working across three sites within Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and the Staffordshire Moorlands.
