A leading main contractor in the UK is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to manage multiple industrial and logistics projects. The successful candidate will lead the commercial management process, oversee financial planning, and mentor teams to ensure high standards and consistency. This office-based role offers a salary between £105,000 - £125,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package and a chance to work on landmark projects nationwide.
Our client is a leading main contractor specialising in industrial and logistics developments. With a strong national presence, they deliver high-value projects ranging from 20m to 150m. Office based in Solihull, with involvement in projects across the UK.
Lead the commercial management of multiple industrial and logistics projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across projects valued 20m- 150m.
Manage and mentor commercial teams, ensuring best practice and consistency across projects.
Negotiate and administer contracts, including subcontractor procurement and commercial agreements.
Manage risk, value engineering, variations, and change control to protect project margins.
Work closely with project directors, construction teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager with a main contractor.
Strong background in industrial and/or logistics construction projects.
Experience managing large-scale projects valued 20m+.
Excellent contractual knowledge (e.g. JCT / NEC).
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
105,000 - 125,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
