A global defense technology company is seeking a Senior Combat Systems Engineer to lead NSIPS integration efforts for naval systems. The role offers flexible working with minimal office attendance. Responsibilities include conducting combat system audits and leading technical project work. Ideal candidates will have expert knowledge of surface ship combat systems and strong leadership skills. Engineered to Protect, thats our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world.As a Senior Combat Systems Engineer, you will support our Complex systems division as a Naval Systems Integration Process Service (NSIPS) Subject Matter Expert and provide team leadership and guidance.
You will be based at either our Barnstaple, Bristol or Beckington sites and allows for flexible working, including home working were appropriate.
This role allows for flexible working patterns including home working (with attendance at SEAs offices being minimal - typically only required for quarterly progress meetings in Bristol and other occasional, irregular meetings at SEAs premises).
The position also has an occasional requirement to visit RN vessels in HM Naval Bases Portsmouth and Devonport - so the position could well suit candidates with a home location within easy travel of those areas.
The salary for this role is up to £65k, depending on experience.
