A leading healthcare institution in England is seeking Senior Clinical Fellows to provide care in Acute and Specialty Medicine. This role involves patient assessment, treatment, and supervision of junior staff. Candidates must have 4 years of postgraduate experience, completion of IMT2, and hold MRCP/PACES. The position offers opportunities for training and is subject to NHS pay scales.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to progress via the CESR route. Applications are invited from candidates having completed IMT2 or equivalent who will provide care to patients in the Acute and Specialty Medicine wards. You will provide support to junior trainees and locally employed doctors, and in return receive training and support from a designated consultant. The posts are offered in a variety of specialties including Acute Medicine, Care of the Elderly (including Orthogeriatrics and Frailty), Diabetes & Endocrinology, Respiratory, Stroke Medicine and Gastroenterology, depending on choice and availability. The Medicine Division operates activity cross-site; therefore clinical/outpatient work may be required on both Epsom and St Helier Hospitals. Participating in the GIM SpR/Middle Grade on call rota is also included.
For new entrants into the NHS, pay under the Agenda for Change or Medical & Dental Pay Bands will normally be set at the minimum of the pay band as advertised.
