A leading NHS trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow for a 12-month fixed-term contract within the dynamic cardiology department. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality cardiology services, assess and diagnose patients with cardiovascular conditions, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include participating in outpatient clinics and ward rounds, and maintaining excellent patient care. Candidates must hold a medical degree and relevant qualifications.
This is a 12 month fixed term contractto join our senior clinical fellow rota within our dynamic cardiology department at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital. The appointee will play a key role in delivering high-quality cardiology services within our trust. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, andنسيةً patients with cardiovascular conditions, supporting outpatient clinics, contributing to inpatient care, and participating in cardiology procedures as appropriate. The appointee will work closely with consultants, specialist nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.
The successful appointee will join the existing cardiology team to provide a comprehensive cardiology service across the Trust. The post holder will share with 5 other specialty doctors the responsibility of giving middle tier support to the cardiology ward/ CCU, inpatient wards cardiac catheterization lab, cardiology outpatients and diagnostics.
