Compensation: £34,084 - £36,264 / year

Description

Are you an experienced children's support worker who is looking for a new adventure?

Salary: up to £36264.00 per annum. Based on £12.95 to £14.60 per hour (dependant on qualification) and £60 per sleep. Opportunities to pick up extra shifts. Overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

Hours: 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern (with sleep nights). We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work. Rotas given in advance.

Essential requirements for a Senior Children's Home Support Worker:

  • A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above

The role:

Cerry Blossom is a solo home, offering crisis intervention and trauma informed therapeutic care. Our young people receive the highest quality residential care, as well as taking part in educational and recreational activities such as bowling, ice skating, visits to trampoline parks and cinema trips.
