Job summary

A leading Lloyd's broker is seeking a Senior Casualty Claims Technician to manage global Casualty claims. The successful candidate will assist the Casualty Advocate and Head of Specialty P&C, and needs extensive experience in Casualty claims and a strong understanding of legal insurance principles. Qualifications

• Extensive Casualty claims experience, preferably in the London Market.
• Strong understanding of the legal principles of insurance.
• Ability to quickly understand client business issues and insurance needs.

Overview

A leading Lloyd's broker have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Casualty Claims Technician. The position will be within the busy Property and Casualty claims team and the role is for a mid to senior technical claims handler.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of global Casualty claims and providing assistance to the Casualty Advocate and Head of Specialty P&C as well as colleagues on the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of global Casualty claims.
• Provide assistance to the Casualty Advocate and Head of Specialty P&C as well as colleagues on the team.
• Build an understanding of a client’s business issues, insurance needs and expectations and use that knowledge in the management of their claims.
• Prepare and interpret claims bordereaux.
• Work within areas including General Liability (EL/PL), Product Recall, Contingency, A&H and various other associated sources.

Qualifications
