Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Senior Care Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality care and coordinating services that meet client needs. The Senior Care Coordinator will work closely with management to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care services and provide leadership to the care staff.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily communication between clients and care assistants, ensuring smooth and consistent care delivery
  • Work alongside management to ensure that services meet the Health and Social Care Standards in Scotland and comply with all relevant legislation
  • Lead and motivate care assistants, ensuring clarity of duties and responsibilities
  • Monitor and review care plans, making adjustments as necessary in response to changing client needs
  • Promote best practices and evidence-based care within your scope of practice
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining strong relationships with clients, their families, and the care team
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting any concerns or incidents to management
  • Support the development and training of care staff
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the UK health and social care sector
  • Previous experience in a care coordination or similar role
  • Must hold SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • SSSC registration (required)
  • Strong knowledge of health and social care standards and relevant legislation in Scotland
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality care
  • Right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor international workers for this role)
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to client well-being
Desirable
  • Experience in Care at Home & Housing Support Services (1 year preferred)
  • Previous experience as a Senior Coordinator (1 year preferred)
