Job summary

A leading luxury elderly care provider is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Care team and ensure high standards of personal care. Job responsibilities

Senior Care Assistant (Wellness) at Avery Healthcare focuses on supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and to provide a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring residents wellbeing, contributing to person-centred care planning, supporting residents with medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.

  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and reflect variations in written records.
  • Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and visitors, and for health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
