Overview

This is a Senior Care Assistant role with Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting the care team to deliver high-quality personal care to residents, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.

Job responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will focus on supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records accordingly.
  • Being involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints escalated as needed.

Shift Details: Night Shifts, two shifts per week.
