A well-known care provider in Tring is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Home Manager and staff in managing the care home. You will assist with personal care for residents and ensure proper training and development of the team. The role offers a contract of 36 hours per week with remuneration ranging from £14.30 to £14.80 per hour. Job description

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Home Manager, Deputy and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the home's management, while supporting residents with personal care, and ensuring the training and development of staff.

Rate of Pay

£14.30 - £14.80

Duties and responsibilities
  • To assist the Manager, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager in the running of the home in an efficient and caring manner in their absence.
  • Be fully aware of the contingency and emergency plan of the home.
  • Ensure a walking handover is carried out and that all residents are accounted for at the start and the end of the shift.
  • Ensure that all staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home and the creation of the right atmosphere and leading by example.
